Gold Coast won the first game of the series 13-0 in four innings. Trinity Spencer pitched four innings and gave up one hit, striking out four and walking four.

Nanea Kaluau had three hits and Jayla Medeiros added two.

Gold Coast won the second game in similar fashion, outscoring Waialua 17-2 in four innings. Tehani Epenesa pitched four innings, striking out five and walked two. She hit one batter and gave up one hit.

Epenesa also provided some offense with three hits. Nanea Kaluau and Ceelyn Gali-Lucero had two hits and Marie Grace had a two-run homer.

The team will now travel to San Bernardino, California July 24-31 to play in the Little League Regional Tournament. Last year, the team had a 2-2 record in the tourney.

The Gold Coast juniors will travel to Tucson, Arizona next weekend for the West Regional Tournament and the senior age division will travel to Missoula, Montana July 23-25 for their regional tourney.
